No, I don't really follow sports that much. But I caught enough of aftershow from the Giants' 6/5 game against the Padres to hear about Tim Lincecum's current troubles. It is well preferred that the pitcher not allow runs, but I think it's impressive that Lincecum was able to salvage four scoreless innings after botching one.
Good performers do make mistakes. Great performers simply don't allow that mistake to upset their rhythm. You have to proceed as if nothing happened, and no one saw anything.
Or perhaps you beckon your invisible eagle compatriot to the rescue, and use your mystical sight beyond all sight to see your pitches through the strike zone…
